Two Police Commissionerates will be inaugurated in Godavarikhani and Karimnagar town in the district tomorrow, Telangana Finance Minister Etala Rajender said here today.
Addressing a press conference, Rajender said the Karimnagar Commissionerate will be inaugurated by principal secretary, Home Department and Godavarikhani Commissionerate by DGP or Additional DGP.
Rajender also said that three new districts - Jagtial, Peddapalli and Sircilla, carved out of Karimnagar, will commence functioning from Tuesday.
At the same time, newly sanctioned revenue divisions, mandals, offices of deputy superintendents of police, circle inspectors of police will start working from tomorrow, he said.
"For the sake of easy administration, Telangana Chief Minister has enhanced the existing 10 districts to 31. The policing system in Telangana has been modernised," the minister said.
