'Godman' bobbitise himself in Churu

A 30-year-old self-proclaimed godman bobbitised himself in Taranagar of Churu district today, police said.

Santosh Das severed his penis after a man in his neighbourhood accused him of having a illicit relationship with a woman in the area, police sources said.

After initial treatment in Taranagar, Das has been referred to a Bikaner hospital. He is said to be stable now.

Police said his statement was yet to be recorded.
