Gogoi greets Manmohan on birthday

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today greeted former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.

"On the joyous occasion of your birthday, I would like to convey my felicitations to you and wish you many more happy returns of the day," Gogoi said in a message to Singh.

"I pray that the Almighty may grant you a long, happy and healthy life to serve the people of the country," he said.

The former Prime Minister represents Assam in the Rajya Sabha.
