Gogoi praises state power deptt for unhindered supply during

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has appreciated the Power Department for ensuring uninterrupted power supply during the just-concluded Durga Puja celebrations in the state.

In a statement here, the Chief Minister said the Power Department deserves praise for its efforts to provide uninterrupted power supply to thousands of puja pandals across the state.

"People enjoyed visiting the well illuminated puja pandals in the evening hours as there were no power cuts or load-shedding and this also ensured hassle-free and peaceful celebrations," he added.
