Gold ornaments weighing 21

sovereigns besides Rs 1.5 lakh were today found stolen from a house near here, police said.

The inmates had gone to visit a relative's house two days ago and when they returned, they found the door broken open and the steel almirah ransacked.

Two days ago at Gobichettipalayam some persons decamped with 31 sovereigns of gold jewels and Rs one lakh kept inside a house, police said, adding, they have intensified night patrolling.
