Gold recovered from flight

One-and-a-half kilogrammes of gold valued about Rs 45 lakh was recovered from a Dubai-Kozhikode Air India flight when it landed at the nearby Karippur International Airport today.

The bag containing the gold, in three pieces, was recovered under a seat by the cleaning officials after the passengers alighted from the flight, official sources said.
