Actor Ryan Gosling is not in line to star in "Star Wars Episode 7", says representative for the actor.
The 32-year-old actor, who gained fame for his role as Noah Calhoun in Nick Cassavetes' "The Notebook", was reported to be entering negotiations to take on the role of Luke Skywalker's son, reported Ace Showbiz.
Gosling is not the only name that the report mentioned. The site has claimed that Zac Efron was also approached to star in the latest project of JJ Abrams.
Aside from "Only God Forgives", Gosling will next be seen in Terrence Malick's "Lawless".
