Governor greets people of Assam on Bihu

In a message to all sections of people, the Governor has urged all to usher in peace and amity during the festival which begins tomorrow.

People feast, which is an integral part of the festivities of Bhogali Bihu, held in the splendid season and environment of the month of 'Magh'.

Assam celebrates three Bihus-- Bhogali in the month of January, Rongali in April and Kongali or Kati Bihu in September.
