Shah Jahan said a delegation of officials representing Government of Malaysia had already held discussions with him as well as Chief Minister V Narayanasamy to promote investment by Malaysian government and entrepreneurs in the Union Territory.
The Minister said the Puducherry government was keen to promotefood processing, electronic, information technology based units, and several other units which did not consume much power and did not depend on copious underground water supply.
These industries should also be labour intensive so that more jobs could be generated, he added.
