Milli Council Rajasthan today criticised the state government for neglecting madarsa education and not taking effective steps for the education of theminority community.
"Madarsa Board is functioning without a Chairman due to which only routine administrative works are being done by the board. The negligence of the state government towards the madarsa board has affected education in these institutions," Abdul Kayyum Akhtar, General Secretary of the Council said.
A meeting to discuss the situation will be held tomorrow by the council.
"Madarsa education will be the main agenda of tomorrow's meeting," he said.
