Govt nominates Rajiv Kumar to RBI board

The government has nominated newly appointed Financial Services Secretary Rajiv Kumar to the RBI board.
He replaces Anjuly Chib Duggal, who superannuated last month.
The Government of India has nominated Rajiv Kumar as a director on the Central Board of RBI in place of Duggal, the central bank said in a statement.
"The nomination of Kumar is effective from September 12, 2017 and until further orders," it said.
