The Haryana government today said it has decided to illuminate all government offices and heritage buildings from 'sunset to sunrise' from October 24 to November 7 in view of the golden jubilee celebration of the state.
The instructions have been issued to make adequate safety measures to ensure that no untoward incident occurs, an official spokesman said.
He said a written communication to this effect has been sent to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, commissioners of Ambala, Hisar, Gurgaon and Rohtak divisions, Registrar Punjab and Haryana High Court, deputy commissioners, managing directors and chief administrators of all boards and corporations and registrars of all the universities in the State to ensure strict compliance of these instructions.
