Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde today alleged that the "negative approach" of bureaucracy was a hurdle in implementing development agenda quickly.
In an informal interaction with reporters on completion of two years of the BJP-led state government, Munde said, "Due to the negative approach of government officials, the targets of development cannot be achieved as expected and in given time frame."
She said a proposal for direct election for the post of sarpanch is under consideration.
