Govt would provide skill training to one lakh PwDs

Government would train one lakh Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) under the National Action Plan for Skill Development of PwDs this year.

In his reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Union Social Justice Minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot said that the target of providing skill training to one lakh PwDs has been fixed for the year 2015-16 under the National Action Plan for Skill Development of PwDs, which was announced in March this year.

The National Action Plan is effective from the current financial year of 2015-16, he added.
