Prices of gram and its dal rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on mild demand from retailers.
However, pulses in range-bound movements in scattered deals, settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to rise in gram and dal prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best qaulity were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,350-5,050, Rs 4,650-4,850 and Rs 4,750-5,050 per quintal respectively.
