Great Eastern Shipping plans to raise up to Rs 500 cr via NCDs

Great Eastern Shipping Company plans to raise up to Rs 500 crore via issuance of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis.

"A meeting of the Debenture Issue Committee is scheduled to be held on January 16, to consider the issue of unsecured non-convertible debentures up to an amount not exceeding Rs 500 crore by way of private placement," Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd said in a filing to BSE.

The company has two main businesses --shipping and offshore.
