Plywood maker Greenply Industries today reported a 28.29 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 35.09 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 27.35 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Its total income from operations during July-September quarter increased by 11.92 per cent to Rs 467.02 crore from Rs 417.27 crore in the year-ago period, Greenply Industries said in a BSE filing.
Shares of the company were trading 2.57 per cent higher at Rs 283 apiece on BSE.
