Groundnut, mustard oils slide on reduced offtake

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Prices of groundnut and mustard oils declined by up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to reduced offtake by stockists on the back of sluggish demand from retailers.

However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on groundnut and mustard oil prices.
