Groundnut oil prices firmed up further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today owing to consistent demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein for softened following lower offtake from retailers.
In non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial surged due to sustained offtake from shippers and soap manufacturing.
However, linseed oil dropped on reduced demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,020 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,020. Refined palmolein edged-down by Re per kg at Rs 574 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold jumped by Rs 215 per 100 kg to Rs 5,015 as compared to Rs 4,800 and castoroil commercial gained by Rs 43 per 10 kg to Rs 1,033 as against Rs 990 previously.
Linseed oil fell by Rs 50 per 10 kg to Rs 830 as against Rs 880.
