Groundnut oil prices slipped in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein edged up owing to good demand from retail buying.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any other large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil eased by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 1,000 from Tuesday's close at Rs 1,020, but refined palmolein rose by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 611 as against Rs 608 yesterday.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,950 per 100 kg, Rs 820 per 10 kg and Rs 1,050 per 10 kg, respectively.
