Groundnut and sesame oil prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on reduced offtake by retailers against increased supply.
However, other edible and non-edible oils, after moving in a narrow range in limited deals, settled at last levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against adequate supply from producing regions mainly kept pressure on groundnut and sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and sesame mill delivery oils lost Rs 100 each at Rs 7,400 and Rs 9,800 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,400, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,200, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,800, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,500, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,700, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,200, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,800, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,450, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,450-9,550, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
