Guar gum prices on Friday dropped by Rs 107 to Rs 7,559 per five quintal in futures market as traders offloaded their positions amid subdued demand.
Marketmen said trimming of positions by participants amid weak demand dragged down guar gum prices here.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for January delivery slipped by Rs 107, or 1.4 per cent, to Rs 7,559 per five quintal in 19,370 lots.
Guar gum contracts for February delivery eased by Rs 101, or 1.3 per cent, to Rs 7,662 per five quintal in 51,360 lots.
