Guard shot dead, Rs 50,000 looted

Criminals today shot dead a watchman and looted Rs 50,000 from pilgrims in Jatipura camp of Vraj Chaurasi Kos Parikrama under Goverdhan police station here, police said.

Following the incident, security of pilgrims has been strengthened and hunt for the bandits is on, Deputy SP Preeti Priyadarshini said.
