Gudalur tahsildar dies of swine flu

The tahsildar of Gudalur in Nilgiris district died of swine flu at the Government hospital here Monday,

Abdul Rehman (430 had symptoms of H1N1 (swine flu) two days ago and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital, hospital sources said.

As test reports confirmed that he was suffering from swine flu, the official was shifted to the Government hospital here Sunday night.

However, Rehman died Monday evening without responding to treatment, the sources said.
