Guj: 3 killed as truck runs into marriage procession

Three women were killed and five others were injured when a dumper truck ran into a marriage procession near the town hall here today.

The accident took place near the wedding venue.

A car, in which the bridegroom was sitting, was also hit by the truck, but he and other passengers were not injured.

The people on the spot got hold of the driver and thrashed him before handing him over to the police.

The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
