Press Trust of India Jaipur
Rajasthan Gurjar Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti (RGASS) today threatened to launch a long-drawn agitation if its demand for 5 per cent quota for Gurjar community under Special Backward Class (SBC) was not met within 15 days.

The ultimatum was given to the Vasundhara Raje government by Col (retd) Kirori Singh Bainsla at a mahapanchayt at Abhaneri in Dausa district.

He said Gurjars, who have been deprived by one government after another in Rajasthan, be it Congress or BJP, would not wait beyond December 8 for the Raje government to find a solution to their demand.

"Now it is the BJP government in the state, and BJP government at the Centre. There should be a positive and constructive approach to list Gurjars in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution," Bainsla's spokesman Himmat Singh Gurjar quoting him as saying.
