Muslim festival of Eid will be celebrated across the Gulf region tomorrow.
"The UAE will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow (Monday) as the Shawwal moon has been sighted in the country," UAE's official WAM news agency said.
Similar announcements were made by other governments in the Gulf region as well.
"It has been officially announced in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Doha (Qatar) and Amman (Jordan) that tomorrow (Monday) will be the first day of the three-day Eid El-Fitr," the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.
Rulers of the Gulf countries exchanged greetings on the occasion.
