Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today condemned the assault on a woman for helping authorities unearth an illicit liquor racket in Narela area, and requested the chief minister to reward her.
"The woman exhibited exemplary courage in standing up against illicit trade in liquor," Gupta said and urged Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to reward her suitably for her act.
Gupta also asked the Delhi Police commissioner to take exemplary action against the culprits so that such an incident was not repeated in future.
