Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today sought to claim that vigilance action on Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) was taken after his complaint, and alleged the AAP government had so far been "turning a blind eye" to corruption issues.
"Registration of a criminal case and raid at the DSSSB office following my complaint about a scam in the recruitment procedure of the Board clearly proves how Kejriwal government is turning a blind eye to even clear cut cases of corruption, favourtism and connivance," Gupta claimed.
The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the city government raided office of DSSSB in connection with alleged irregularities and malpractices in recruitment examination for Grade III level posts. A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was registered by the vigilance body yesterday.

Gupta had earlier alleged that the board's functioning was marred by "corruption, inefficiency and collusion of officials" and had met the Lt Governor along with some candidates of the Grade III examination, on February 12, demanding a probe into the allegations.
The ramifications of the "scam" are so deep and widespread that a CBI probe may be required to reach to its depth," Gupta said.
