Barring a fall of Rs 100 per quintal in gur chakku due to withdrawal of support, other varities ruled steadyt at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today.
Marketmen said lack of buying support at higher levels amidst increased supplies mainly pulled down gur chakku prices in delhi.
However, Muzaffarnagar gur markets showed a mixed tendency.

In Delhi, gur chakku prices moved down by Rs.100 to settle at Rs.2,800-2,900 per quintal.
At Muzaffarnagar, there also prices of gur chakku slipped by Rs.150 to Rs.2,400-2,500 per quintal, while gur ladoo prices spurted by Rs.150 at Rs.2,900-3,000 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs.2,800-2,900, pedi Rs.2,900-3,000, dhayya Rs.3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs.3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs.2,650-2,700 chakku Rs.2,400-2,500,
khurpa Rs.2,500-2,600 and Ladoo Rs.2,900-3,000
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs.2,550-2,600 and dhayya Rs.2,650-2,700.
