The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market displayed steady trend in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid restricted arrivals.
On the other hand, gur chakku prices in Muzaffarnagar fell by Rs 100 per quintal on muted demand amid fresh arrivals.
Traders said the fall in gur chakku prices at Muzaffarnagar was mostly due to fresh arrivals in the markets from manufacturing belts.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur chakku prices were down by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 3,425-3,500 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,900-4,000, pedi Rs 4,000-4,100, dhayya Rs 4,100-4,200 and shakkar Rs 4,200-4,300.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,400-3,450, chakku Rs 3,425-3,500, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,700-3,800 and dhayya Rs 3,150- 3,175.
