Gur closes steady in Delhi, Pedi rises in Muradnagar

Gur (Jaggery) prices ended steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today in the absence of any worthwhile activity.
On the other hand, gur Pedi in Muradnagar surged by Rs 75 per quintal on speculative buying following paucity of stocks.
Marketmen said increased offtake by stockists and retailers, triggered by limited stocks position, mainly led to rise in gur pedi prices at Muradnagar.
