Gur prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following persistent supplies amid slackened demand.
Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a weak trend with prices falling by Rs 50 per quintal in gur pedi prices on increased arrivals.
Marketmen said ample stocks on increased supplies against subdued demand mainly weighed on trading sentiments.

In Delhi, gur pedi and dhayya prices dragged down by Rs 100 each to end at Rs 3,100-3,200 and Rs 3,300-3,400 per quintal respectively.
At Muradnagar, gur pedi prices lost Rs 50 to Rs 2,750-2,800 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,900-3,000, pedi Rs 3,100-3,200, dhayya Rs 3,300-3,400 and shakkar Rs 3,400-3,500.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakku Rs 2,600-2,850, khurpa Rs 2,550-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,750-2,800 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
