Gur prices remain steady on little activity

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market closed steady in the national capital today on the back of scattered buying support.

Marketmen said restricted supplies against limited demand kept prices unmoved.

Following are today's rates per quintal:

Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,200-3,300, dhayya 3,400-3,500 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,600-2,650, chakku 2,750-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and dhayya 2,900-3,000.
