Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Chairman R K Tyagi has been conferred with 'JGBS-Top Rankers' Excellence Award for CEO of the year'.
He received the award from S M Khan, Director General (Press Registrar and Head of Department), Registrar of Newspapers for India, at a function in New Delhi today, HAL said in a release here.
Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is part of O P Jindal Global University, Delhi.
HAL said Tyagi played a key role in 2014 being a successful year for HAL through a series of initiatives.
HAL was rated as 'Excellent' with a score of 1.08 for the year 2013-14 which is the best among all Defence Public Sector Undertakings, it said, adding that the company emerged in top six public sector companies out of over 180 PSEs assessed by Department of Public Enterprises.
