Hardcore Maoist arrested: police

A hardcore Maoist was arrested from a village in Bihar's Jehanabad district, police sources said today.

Acting on a tip off, police raided a house in Lakhanpur village last night and nabbed the ultra, identified as Shatrughan Ram, the sources said.

Ram was said to be a self-styled sub-zonal area commander of a Maoist outfit, they said, adding that he was wanted for several activities of naxals.
