The Haryana government today said it has approved projects worth Rs 455 crore for 2014-15.
The projects were approved by Haryana State Level Screening Committee of National Agricultural Development Plan (NADP) in a meeting presided over by Chief Secretary, S C Choudhary here today.
Under NADP, Rs 226 crore has been allocated for various schemes related to agriculture and Rs 138 crore for sub-schemes.

An amount of Rs 226 crore would be spent on agriculture, horticulture, pisciculture and dairy department for increasing productivity and strengthening of infrastructure in Haryana Agriculture University and Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar, an official release said here today.
About Rs 22 crore were allocated for distribution of certified seeds of paddy, wheat, millet and sorghum during the year 2014-15, it added.
