Haryana cooperative mills produce over 16 lakh quintals sugar

The cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 16.86 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 183.34 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that in comparision, these sugar mills had produced over 15.17 lakh quintals by crushing 163.30 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the corresponding period last year.

Also, 3,47,86,935 units of power have been exported by the cooperative sugar mills during this season as against 3,51,04,869 units exported in corresponding period last year.

The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad had produced a maximum of over 3.20 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 32.50 lakh quintals sugarcane, and exported 2,10,87,935 units of power.
 

Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has produced over 1.83 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 20.90 lakh quintals of sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak, which has produced 2.07 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 23.72 lakh quintals of sugarcane.

The mill exported 1,27,86,000 units of power.

He said that the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has produced more than 1.81 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 19.36 lakh quintals of sugarcane, whereas Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana, has produced 1.59 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 18.39 lakh quintals of cane.

The mill also exported 9,13,000 units of power.

Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has so far produced over 1.34 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 14.14 lakh quintals of sugarcane, whereas Sonipat sugar mill has produced more than 1.35 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 14.65 lakh quintals of sugarcane, and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has produced more than 1.35 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 14.45 lakh quintals of sugarcane.

The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced 1.07 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 12.69 lakh quintals of sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has produced 1.21 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 12.54 lakh quintals of sugarcane.

Apart from this, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has produced 1.51 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing more than 16.49 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has exported 15,84,700 units of power.
