The Town and Country Planning department of Haryana has framed a policy for setting up of mobile towers in the controlled areas of the state.
The Department will grant permission for 'change of land use' as per the provisions of Communication and Connectivity Infrastructure Policy 2013, an official statement said here today.
The Director General of Town and Country Planning department has been appointed as nodal officer for the purpose.
The lease period of minimum one year for determining 'title of land' or 'title deed' for the 'change in land use' application will be considered in respect of mobile towers, it said.
