Haryana govt enhances DA

Haryana government today announced to enhance the rate of Dearness Allowance payable to the pensioners of the state government from existing 90 per cent to 100 per cent with effect from January 1 this year.

The Dearness Allowance to pensioners and family pensioners would be admissible on the pattern of the Central government, an official spokesman said here.

The grant of DA would put annual impact of Rs 137.52 crore on the state exchequer, he said.
