Haryana Govt to sponsor 50 pilgrims for 'Sindhu Darshan Utsav'

Haryana Government has decided to sponsor 50 pilgrims of the state domicile to visit 'Sindhu Darshan Utsav' in Leh, Ladakh, scheduled to be held from June 23 to 26, 2015.

The government would bear 50 per cent of the travel expenses of the pilgrims, subject to a maximum of Rs 10,000, an official release said here today.

Registered Non-Government Organizations or Societies devoted towards religious cause can also recommend pilgrims for the sponsorship. On return from the festival, the pilgrims would have to submit their claim on a prescribed performa to get grant from the government, the release said.
