Haryana health worker caught taking bribe

The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau caught a Multi Purpose Health Worker posted at a primary health centre at Karora in Kaithal district while he was allegedly accepting illegal gratification of Rs 3,000.

Pardeep Kumar was today caught red-handed while accepting bribe from Manoj Kumar of Sehrda village in the district in lieu of issuing birth certificate, an official release here said.

A case under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused, the release added.
