Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today said that the Centre has been requested to provide vehicles equipped with advanced testing facilities to curb the spread of cancer in the state.

Vij said that he had met Union Health Minister JP Nadda in this regard.

He said that with the help of these vehicles, blood and other samples will be collected by the personnel of Haryana Health Department all over the state.

This will help in early diagnosis of the disease in affected people and they will get timely treatment.

The Health Minister said that he has written a letter to the Central Government to know the status of cancer patients in the state.

Under this, appeal was also made to constitute investigation teams so as to conduct survey of affected areas in the state.

Apart from this, appeal has been made to set up relief fund for patients suffering from chronic diseases in the state so as to help such patients.

Vij said that directions have been issued to investigate the matter of alleged misconduct with Wushu player and after getting report of the investigation; strict action would be taken against the guilty.

He said that although the incident took place during the tenure of previous Congress Government, our Government will provide full justice, he said.

The minister has described Kejriwal government's even-odd vehicle scheme to control pollution in Delhi as "impractical decision taken due to lack of experience".

He said that if a person goes on night duty, then he will return the next day. In such a case, the Kejriwal government should mention what provisions have been made by them for these people.
