Haryana police busts inter-state gang

With the arrest of six persons, police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang involved in numerous cases of burglaries.

"Members of Pardhi gang of Guna district in Madhya Pradesh, were wanted in several cases of burglaries committed in Haryana. All accused...Have been arrested from Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh," an official release said here.

Those arrested have been identified as Malkhan, Gagan, Kuldeep alias Lakhan, Gajender, Ajmal and Bunty.

During interrogation, they have confessed involvement in different cases of crime and said that they have committed many burglaries in Gurgaon, Rewari, Narnaul, Rohtak, Jahjjar, Bhiwani, Hansi, Hisar, Sirsa, Taoru in Haryana and Kotputli, Kota, Baran and other parts of Rajashtan, it said.
 

"All have criminal history and are wanted in many cases of heinous crimes in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan," it said.

Gajender, carrying a reward of Rs 5,000, was also wanted by Uttar Pradesh police in a murder case. He had murdered a former Chief Engineer in Jhansi.

Haryana Police have traced out crimes committed by members of this gang at Narnaul and recovered gold and silver jewelery items from their possession.
