Haryana seeks package from Centre to tackle drought

He told reporters at village Sirasgarh in Ambala district that Haryana had made the demand to the Centre before Punjab, though he did not disclose the size of the package sought.

The state government has also mentioned in its letter addressed to the Central government about increased expenditure of electricity due to deficient rains.
