Haryana government has directed all the districts to hold "kisan darbars" every month for redressal of grievances of the farmers.
"All the deputy commissioners in the state have been directed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to hold 'kisan darbars' every month in their respective districts to redress grievances of farmers," an official spokesman said here today.
He said that the event could also be used to promote crop practices and provide other relevant information to the farmers through exhibitions for the next month.
Instructions have also been issued to prepare a list of different departments to which the grievances of farmers could relate so as to resolve their problems promptly, he added.
