Haryana youth drowned in Markanda River

Rahul, along with his two friends Rohit and Pragat, went to the river for taking bath and Rahul entered deeper into the water and was swept away by the strong current and drowned, Additional S.P. Sirmour Sanjiv Lakhanpal said.

The body of the deceased was recovered and handed over to the relatives after post mortem.

Rahul is a resident of Raipur Rani town of Haryana.
