Hasty implementation of GST affected people: Elangovan

The hasty implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) by the Centre has affected people from all walks of life, senior Congress leader EVKS Elangovan alleged today.

Following implementation of GST, people from all walks of life and trading community were affected, he told reporters here.

To a query on the possibility of Rahul Gandhi becoming the president of AICC, Elangovan said "every Congress member wanted Rahul Gandhi to be made the Congress president".
