Hatnur dam authorities today opened the 41 outlets door of the dam over river Tapti, with water crossing the danger-level mark.
The river which originates in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, passes through Bhusawal district in the state, has led to heavy water flow from last night and all the 41 outlet doors of the dam have been opened this morning to release water, deputy engineer, Hatnur dam S R Patil said.
He said though the doors have been opened, water influx due to heavy rainfall in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh districts, is continuing to flood the dam.
The water level has crossed the danger mark in Bhusawal district, he said.
