The Madras High Court today recorded the unconditional apology of the office bearers of a Teachers Association and dispensed with their further appearance.
Justice N.Kirubakaran recorded the appearance of the four office bearers of the Tamil Nadu High and Higher Secondary School Graduate Teachers Association.
The matter relates to a recent strike call given by various teachers associations to press their various demands. The court had condemned the strike.

There were several comments degrading the judiciary in social media allegedly posted by persons aggrieved over the court's observations on striking government employees and teachers.
The court had on September 22 asked police to take action as per the law and also advised them not to give any special attention and treat the case like any other case.
In the above connection, the office bearers of the association appeared and tendered an unconditional apology before Justice N.Kirubakaran.
The judge advised the above office bearers to take care of students and also to prepare them to tackle the NEET successfully at least by next year.
Advocate Senthil had earlier brought to the court's notice the comments against the judiciary on social and visual media debates.
He said only office bearers of one association had appeared before the court. If a lenient view was taken, they will again start commenting, he said.
The judge said he did not want to pass any orders in the matter hurriedly and posted it for further hearing to December 6.
